Board-certified in marital and family law since 1985, Alan has been a distinguished member of The Florida Bar, the Executive Council of the Family Law Section, the American Bar Association, the Lee County Bar Association, and the Lee County Association of Family Law Professionals. Alan has been a fellow in both the Florida Chapter and the National Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Beyond legal contributions, Alan participated in civic organizations, demonstrating a strong commitment to community service and leadership. Alan routinely embraced opportunities to mentor and assist those in need. Alan was as a member and past president of Temple Beth El in Cape Coral, and was active in Rotary and Kiwanis clubs. Deeply devoted to education, Alan volunteered for children's reading and literacy programs. Throughout the years, Alan mentored students at Ave Maria University and the University of Florida Colleges of Law, mentored young lawyers, freely assisted attorneys seeking advice, in addition to bringing up attorneys within the firm.
